Existe un Consenso Internacional en cuanto a las fases que pasa un perfume justo después de aplicarse: ya que este se va transformando en la piel a medida que transcurren las horas, y dicha Secuencia Aromática se divide en Notas de Salida, Notas de Corazón y Notas de Fondo.

LAS NOTAS DE SALIDA:


Suelen ser las más ligeras, y las que se volatizan con mayor facilidad: están encargadas de despertar el sentido del olfato y dar una primera impresión. Se desprenden los primeros minutos después de la aplicación. Estas notas nos dan una idea de lo que puede ser el perfume, y por lo general tienden a evocar notas frescas y atractivas, como fragancias cítricas, verdes, aromáticas o aldehídicas para deleitar en esa primera apreciación del producto.

LAS NOTAS DE CORAZÓN:

Esta fase de la fragancia la componen matices mas complejos y sofisticados que le dan identidad al perfume con un aire de individualidad. Las Notas de Corazón se perciben pasados los 15 primeros minutos y pueden llegar a perdurar en la piel unas 5 o 6 horas.

LAS NOTAS DE FONDO:

Más tenaces y voluptuosas que las Notas de Corazón, las Notas de Fondo son las responsables de dar cierre a la constitución total del perfume: le dan cierta profundidad e intensidad a las fragancia.

Suelen comenzar a manifestarse en nuestra piel transcurridas las 2 primeras horas tras la aplicación, dando lugar a un aroma final y más duradero de la fragancia. Por lo general se constituyen de notas amaderadas, ambaradas, almizcladas, musgos o algunas especias de gran intensidad.

Si bien esta clasificación piramidal da una idea de lo que será el comportamiento de una perfume, no puede predecir lo que sucederá cuando la creatividad aflora en la combinación de diferentes materias primas y esencias, y seria limitado intuir con exactitud lo que devengara cada aroma y en que momento a los diferentes consumidores.
